ClassRunner has been developed by teachers, for teachers - - specifically to help other teachers navigate this complex task in a simple, efficient way.

While you could definitely set up your own system from scratch (in fact, for the tech-savvy, we encourage you to explore the possibilities here), our aim is to help the teachers who want to use a system, not build it. 

ClassRunner provides a simple yet powerful e-learning environment for teachers to start using immediately.

The open source software we use was designed by educators, and refined by thousands of contributing teachers for over the past 10 years. It is solid, friendly, and boasts the widest feature set available today.

We deal with the technical side of things - setup, security, upgrades - and let you get on with the teaching.

Being involved in education, we know there are gaps in the system. Our mission is to help bridge some of those gaps through the use of technology. But technology isn't enough in some cases.

That's why ClassRunner is dedicated to donating 10% of our collected subscription fees directly back into the system. We work with www.firstbook.org in Canada and the U.S. and www.roomtoread.org globally to support learning and literacy at home and abroad.
